The incumbent Croatian telco T-HT has posted revenues of HRK8,839 million (€1,201 million) for 2006, representing no change on the previous year’s total. At the same time, its operating revenue was by 5.6% to HRK2,376 million and net profit by 7.1% to HRK2,058 million. Although Deutsche Telekom-backed T-HT is still the country’s leading provider of fixed-line telephony, the main focus of its business has switched to Internet and mobile services. In the former case, the number of subscribers receiving the broadband package MAXadsl more than doubled in 2006 to reach 215,000. However, no subscriber figures have as yet been provided for T-HT’s IPTV service Maxtv. Launched last September, it gives MAXadsl customers access to over 50 TV channels and a digital video library.
