Canal+ and Telecom Italia-backed Alice have teamed up to launch the first-ever triple play service to made available nationally in France. Due to make its debut tomorrow (March 14), AliceBox-Groupe Canal+ will be available for an introductory price of €39.95 a month until May 19 and consist of two offers. The first, known as AliceBox-Canal+ Le Bouquet, will be delivered via ADSL to subscribers who can receive Alice’s IPTV service. The second, AliceBox-Groupe Canal+ or AliceBox Canalsat, will meanwhile be made available via satellite to subscribers who cannot at present receive Alice’s IPTV service. A further option – Canalsat via ADSL – is likely to be provided from this September.
