Virgin Media has closed a deal with Warner Bros to add US shows including Nip/Tuck, The West Wing and The OC to its on demand library. The shows will form part of the Virgin Central channel, which launches today, and demonstrates the reliance of UK VOD providers on US originated content.
Last week both Virgin and BT Vision announced they had secured content supply deals with Time Warner’s programming arm HBO.
Other recent deals secured by Virgin include Buena Vista and Alliance Atlantis. It also has an agreement with UK broadcaster Channel 4.
