According to local analysts, the Polish national commercial broadcaster TVN is likely to have made a consolidated profit of between PLN119 million (€30.59 million) and PLN142.3 million in Q4 2006. This compares with a figure of PLN90.8 million in the corresponding period in 2005. Its revenues in the same period are meanwhile projected to be in the range PLN355 million to PLN398.8 million, as opposed to PLN275 million in Q4 2005. TVN’s latest results will be published tomorrow (February 21). Separately, Poland has become only the second country after the UK to launch a channel dedicated to weddings. The service is expected to also make its debut in Russia, Romania and several other Central and East European markets in the next year. (CD)
