ATM Grupa surges ahead

February 14, 2007 09.33 Europe/London By Chris Dziadul

Poland’s leading independent production company ATM Grupa has posted revenues of PLN86.5 million (€22.1 million) for 2006, or 19% more than the previous year. At the same time, its net profit rose by 72% to PLN20.3 million. ATM Grupa specialises in light entertainment formats and has a feature film co-production agreement with MTL Maxfilm. It has sold formats outside Poland, listing Greece’s Mega Channel as one of its clients, and last month began supplying programming to the Internet-delivered TV service operated by the web portal Wirtualna Polska. ATM Grupa also plans to invest around PLN20 million this year on HD production equipment. It already produces up to a third of its output in the format. (CD)
