EuroNews has launched on the Orange mobile network in Poland. The latter, which is operated by PTK Centertel, itself owned by the France Telecom-backed incumbent telco TPSA, began this year with 12.5 million subscribers. Its TV offer consists of around 20 channels including the news-based BBC World and TVN24 live, along with HBO and five Cyfra+ channels. It can be viewed for a flat fee of PLN0.60 (€0.15) a minute, with premium services charged extra. (CD)
