The Russian ISP Corvette Telecom and its wholly owned content aggregation and pay-TV service subsidiary City TV have entered into an agreement with the content security company Verimatrix. Under it, San Diego-based Verimatrix will supply digital video content security throughout an IPTV network being constructed in Moscow by Corvette Telecom. Corvette is one of a growing number of Ethernet companies in Russia and expects to be offering a full range of triple play services to a potential 600,000 homes by the end of the year. It is headed by Dominic Reed and lists Peter Gerwe, the founder of CTC/StoryFirst Communications, as one of its backers.(CD)
