Blinkx partners with QVC UK Looking for that special something for the one you love this Valentine’s Day? It may be that you can find the jewellery for the love of your life, or just a flat screen TV for yourself, on the blinkx website following a new tie up with QVC. The world’s largest video search engine has introduced The QVC Video Centre that allows users to choose and buy products from the UK channel through specially recorded videos, live TV footage, and product clips. Blinkx has established itself as a means to search online video and audio content. It has established 100 partners and seven million hours of indexed video and audio content including favourite TV moments, news clips, short documentaries, music videos, video blogs. It uses voice recognition software that it believes to be more accurate than standard keyword searches. (JC)
