The GSM Association has announced the nominations for the 2007 Global Mobile Awards. Now in its 12th year, the Global Mobile Awards programme continues to grow with the industry that it represents. Each year the number of submissions increases, and this year was no exception, with 20% more entries than 2006. The Award winners will be announced at the 3GSM World Congress in Barcelona during the 12th Annual Awards Gala evening in Barcelona’s National Palace (Palau Nacional) on Tuesday 13 February 2007. Amongst many categories the nominations for the ‘Best Made for Mobile Video Service’ category are:
1) marblemedia, NFB and Bravo! FACT with ‘Shorts in Motion: The Art of Seduction’
2) Digital Magics with a video-participative format for RAI: ‘Occhio alla spesa’
3) Icon Impact GmbH with ‘mittendrin – Nina’s Welt’
4) ShoZu Inc with their ShoZu mobile multimedia delivery platform
5) Endemol Mobile with ‘Get Close to….The Sugababes’
