Czech DTH operators fined

The Czech Telecom Office (CTU) has imposed fines of CZK20 million (€772,000) each on the M7 Group and UPC DTH, operators of the DTH platforms Skylink/CS Link and freeSAT respectively.

HD Austria adds Super RTL HD

HD Austria, part of the M7 Group, is adding Super RTL HD to it’s line up of channels. The DTH platform is also adding the Austrian versions of the other three RTL channels.

AustriaSat licences new HD Austria receivers

The Austrian DTH platform AustriaSat has started to license the first satellite receivers for the new HD Austria bouquet that will launch later this year. Products from Loewe, Wisi and Hirschmann are part of the first slate of certified receivers.

M7 agrees to Rovi EPG patent scheme
