A recent connected TV survey reveals short-form video and streamed TV show viewers prefer ad-supported content over subscription or Pay-per-View.

The number of US consumers currently accessing the internet through their TV sets is on the rise and will continue to grow dramatically in the year ahead, according to a consumer study conducted by Frank N. Magid Associates in late March 2012.
The most recent non-proprietary video compression standard, High-Efficiency Video Codec (HEVC), also known as H.265, was placed into final draft for ratification in January 2013 and is expected to become the video standard of choice for the next decade. … [Read More...]
