Telefonica Deutschland has decided to stop marketing its IPTV service Alice TV, according to local reports. The operator was not successful in selling the service to its DSL customers and just 83,000 out of 2,588,000 subscribe to Alice TV.

Telefonica has reported that its German subsidiary O2 had 83,000 customers to its Alice IPTV service on September 30, 2011.
