The latest in the series of business breakfasts on digital TV in specific markets, organised by Broadband TV News in association with Telenor Satellite Broadcasting, will take place at The Westin in the Croatian capital, Zagreb, on Thursday, November 10.
The event will commence at 8.00am, when a light breakfast will be served, followed by a series of presentations and a panel discussion at 8.30.
Croatia has made remarkable progress in the adoption of digital TV services, completing the transition to DVB-T in just under a year in late 2010. Its IPTV market, headed by T-HT’s MAXtv, is one of the largest and most dynamic in Central and Eastern Europe, while B.net is both the country’s leading cable company and also, in cooperation with Total TV, the operator of one of its two DTH platforms.
The two leading commercial broadcasters Nova TV and RTL Televizja are also playing increasingly important roles in the new Croatian digital marketplace.
