NATPE||Europe, is the companion to NAPTE’s Miami-based international content market held January 27-29, 2014. Focusing on Central and Eastern Europe, NATPE||Europe brings key buyers and sellers together at this market in their own back yard.
To better accommodate screenings and meetings, NATPE has adjusted the schedule: Monday and Tuesday feature studio screenings that are “invitation only.” Registration will open Monday; and the market floor will open on Tuesday. Full market days will be held on Wednesday and Thursday.
In addition to increased flexibility, the transition will place all market and studio screening activities in one convenient location. NATPE made a similar decision when it relocated its annual U.S. market and conference to the Fontainebleau in Miami four years ago, enabling all attendees to network and do business under the same roof, maximising return on their time and investment.
NAPTE’s move from Budapest to Prague represents a deep and ongoing commitment to the EEC countries and their growing television and content businesses. It believes in Central and Eastern Europe, and this move represents a chance to refresh this yearly television market institution. NATPE says Budapest was a wonderful location for many years, and after careful consideration and many conversations with its customers, the consensus was that Prague will provide more flexibility that will make NATPE||Europe an even better market.
2013 marked the launch of NATPE’s new initiative – The NAVIGATOR Program with the objective to establish new initiatives to increase connectivity, maximise deal flow and generate revenue. Guiding attendees across all NATPE markets and conferences, the NAVIGATOR Program enhances the ROI by providing a customised service unmatched by NATPE’s competitors.
