The German cable operator KabelBW says it has extended its digital offer with three new channels. As from today (October 16), Anixe SD, Timm TV and Daystar TV are available to digital subscribers on the network.

Viasat adds MTVNHD
Viasat Broadcasting has bolstered its HD line-up with the launch of MTVNHD on its pay-TV platform in the Nordic region. The agreement with MTV Networks kicks in at 10.00 CET this morning in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland.
Dutch PSBs go Caribbean
The three main Dutch public channels Nederland 1, 2 and 3 are now available live and unabridged on the Telbo MITV IPTV network on the Dutch Caribbean island of Bonaire. Eurosport 1 and 2 are now also available on the island.
Livestation gives C-SPAN global reach
US public affairs channel C-SPAN has become the tenth partner channel to join the Livestation web TV platform. The channel will be available to anyone outside of the United States.
Comedy Central Family launched on Ziggo
Dutch cable operator Ziggo has launched the new Endemol/MTV Networks joint venture channel Comedy Central Family. Distribution contracts with other operators are expected in a few months time.
BBC HD makes Scandi debut
BBC HD is making its debut in continental Europe following an agreement with the Nordic pay-TV platform Canal Digital. A version of the channel will appear in early December alongside the new BBC Knowledge. BBC Lifestyle and BBC Entertainment will replace BBC Food and BBC Entertainment respectively.
History HD launches in Japan
Following the September debut of History HD in Asia, the network is continuing its roll out in the region with an October 1 launch in Japan.
