Technicolor Nederland has chosen Divisio, a turnkey hosted iDTV multi-platform service from Dutch based Divitel.
Ziggo TV app to stream more channels
Dutch cable operator Ziggo has added two more channels which it streams to iPad, iPhone and iPod. Eurosport and National Geographic Channel bring the total to 12 streaming channels.

UPC Nederland expands HD bouquet to 32
UPC Nederland is adding the HD channels 24kitchen HD, ESPN America HD, MTV HD, Comedy Central/Kindernet HD and Shorts HD to its offer on April 23, bringing the total number in the format to 32.
UPC and Ziggo go QAM256
UPC is in the process of moving is digital TV multiplexes to QAM256 modulation, replacing QAM64. Ziggo has also started using QAM256.
Dutch digital TV homes surpass 6 mln
The number of digital TV connections in the Netherlands grew by 2.7% during the fourth quarter to 6.05 million, according to Telecompaper’s quarterly Dutch television subscribers report.
African Television launches on Astra 23.5 East
African Television (AF-TV), a new free-to-air channel, will launch on the Astra 23.5 degrees East position on April 1, 2012, for DTH reception and distribution via cable and IPTV platforms.
