The Polish national public broadcaster TVP has placed an order for eight Autocue software packages for deployment across 10 of its regional networks. Autocue provides a single solution for all transmission, newsroom, scripting and prompting requirements. It includes the BBC. Bloomberg, NBC and CNN among its clients.

UPC freezes Slovak prices
UPC Broadband Slovakia has announced that it will not raise the prices for any of its services from the beginning of 2008. Russia’s Comstar UTS has acquired an 87.5% stake in the alternative telco Regional Technical Centre (RTC) for $21 million (€14.4 million) in cash.
