The digital TV receiver manufacturer TechnoTrend has become the latest company to postpone an IPO. In a statement, the Portuguese IT group Novabase SGPS said its subsidiary had been forced to postpone from November 30 to 2008 because “the currently difficult capital market environment does not allow IPOs in the area of Small and MidCaps.”
The company said there had still been a positive feedback to the IPO from analysts and investors and the digitisation of the global television market continued to have a positive impact on the business.
