The president of Poland’s TVP has proposed the creation of a joint TV channel for the four Visegrad nations.
Speaking at a meeting of public media from the four Visegrad nations (Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic and Slovakia) in the city of Brno and quoted by Wirtualne Media, he added the nations had common interests and shared the same point of view on many political issues.
He also suggested that such a channel would be broadcast in English and based in the countries, citing BBC World, France 24, Russia Today and Al Jazeera as role models.
