Slovak Telekom has pulled off a major coup for its TV business by hiring a leading executive from the national commercial broadcaster Joj.
Quoting a statement by the incumbent, Medialne reports that Andrej Miklánek, who drove the development of paid channels and services at Joj, is leaving the company later this year to join Slovak Telekom.
There, he will from January next year be responsible for the Magio platform, its programme structure and product development.
Miklánek joined Joj in 2013, prior to which he was the sales director for Mediaresearch in the Czech Republic and Slovakia and held a number of editorial and then managerial positions at Slovak Television.
