The Polish national commercial broadcaster TV Puls will launch a HD version of its second channel on February 23.
According to Wirtualne Media, it will initially be distributed by Vectra and Inea, with other cable operators in due course also adding the service to their offers.
TV Puls launched an HD version of its first channel on September 2 last year and it is currently distributed by around 30 cable operators, including UPC Polska, Vectra and Toya, with Inea set to be added to the list on February 26.
Significantly, both TV Puls HD and the new Puls 2 HD have yet to secure distribution on Poland’s DTH platforms.
