The Court of Appeal in Warsaw has dismissed a request by the cable operator Vectra to have a fine of PLN200,000 (€48,024) imposed on it by the Office of Electronic Communications (UKE) in 2011 withdrawn.
In a statement, the regulator says its decision is final. The fine was incurred by Vectra, one of the largest cable operators in Poland, for failing to fulfill its obligations on national defence, national security and public safety.
It has been fined on at least two other occasions by the UKE since 2012.
