The Lithuanian cable operator Cgates has acquired two companies – JSC Ukmerges TV (Ukmergeje) and UAB Rakaras (Skuode) – for an undisclosed fee.
Quoting Paulius Dambrauskas, Cgates’ CEO, Verslo Zinios reports that the transactions were competed in late June.
They have increased the operator’s subscriber total by 4% to 195,000.
Cgates now plans to invest around LTL2 million (€570,727) in the period to 2015-16 to increase the range of services offered by the two companies, including the provsiion of internet access of up to 300 Mbps.
Cgates plans more acquistions this autumn.
