Telekom Srbija has begun trialing its new IPTV service, which will be fully launched on December 1.
Four packages will be available to Telekom Srbija’s ADSL subscribers. The “Basic” one, costing €6.85 a month, will consist of 43 TV channels from Serbia and neighbouring countries, plus a selection of foreign channels including Cartoon Network, CNN, BBC World and Eurosport 1 and 2.
The “Fun” package will meanwhile carry seven more TV channels – Nat Geo, Discovery Science, Discovery World, VH1 Classic, MTV Two, MTV Hits, Extreme Sports – and cost €8.60 a month.
The two other additional packages will offer pay-TV channels from HBO and the adult channels (Dorcel, Spice and Hustler channels) and cost €11.50 and €9.20 a month respectively, while all four packages will be available for €13.85 a month.
The IPTV service will also include an EPG and a VOD service, offering movies for between €0.55 and €1.00.
New services such as SMS, telephony, weather forecasts, news, online gaming and chat will be added in the future, and the connection fee will be a symbolic €0.01.
