Vodafone is understood to be in talks with Netflix to offer subscribers access to streaming movies and TV shows, according to Bloomberg.
Quoting three people familiar with the discussions, which are still at an early stage, it adds that a deal between the parties would give Vodafone customers free access to Netflix content for a period of time.
Vodafone, which has recently embarked on a high-profile acquisition spree that has included KDG in Germany and Ono in Spain, is also focusing increasingly on the provision of content for its customers.
Last year, for instance, it entered into agreements that now give its 4G customers in the UK free access to Spotify and Sky Sports.
