Canal+ and beIN Sports are to share the live rights to the UEFA Champions League for the period 2015-2018.
According to Le Figaro, BeIN Sports has obtained the better deal as it will be able to screen the best games on Tuesday evenings – 18 in total per season – including the Euroepan Supercup and especially the final of the Champions League, although the latter will also have to be shown FTA, by TF1.
Canal+ will meanwhile show Wednesday night games, including those involving PSG.
However, should the Paris club be the only French representative in the semi-finals, then beIN Sports will be allowed to show the game.
