Arqiva has entered into a long-term contact with Eutelsat for satellite capacity to serve the UK’s DTH market.
Under the terms of the deal between the two parties, Arqiva has booked multiple transponders commercialised by Eutelsat at the 28.2/5 degrees East video neighbourhood, which provide premium reach across the UK and Ireland.
Barrie Woolston, commercial director of satellite and media at Arqiva, said: “Arqiva is dedicated to providing the very best service for our customers. This new contract with Eutelsat will provide us with long term capacity to further develop the UK Direct-to-Home market.”
