Lithuania’s Radio and Television Commission (LRTK) has confirmed the sale of MTG’s assets in the country to Bité Lietuva.
In a statement, it says that this comes after examining the appications of the two companies and them agreeing to meet its requests.
In March this year MTG signed an agreement to sell its free-TV, pay-TV, digital and radio businesses in the Baltic region to Providence Equity Partners, the owner of the Lithuanian and Latvian mobile operator Bité.
The deal valued the businesses at €115 million.
Earlier this month the sale received the blessing of the Lithuanian Competition Council.
