ZTE has given the ANGA COM debut to its Premium Video Platform.
The solution runs on advanced video processing technologies and features a network-wide over-the-top (OTT) multicast mode, and an integrated communication data network that allows users to enjoy low-latency videos. It’s compatible with multiscreen and virtual reality services.
“The Premium Video Platform is an open and interactive platform that activates the big video ecosystem,” said Dr Hua Xinhai, GM of ZTE’s Multimedia Video Product Line. “In addition to providing big video systems and terminals for operators, ZTE can aggregate third party collaborators such as content providers and service providers through the Premium Video Platform to constitute a perfect ecosystem and provide a true end-to-end big video solution for operators.”
ZTE is also displaying its latest set-top boxes for IPTV, OTT, DVB-C and DVB-C2. Its home media centre HC100 integrates 4K STB and network-attached storage (NAS) functionalities, and provides features such as video communication, multiscreen interaction, home media sharing, and home cloud storage, serving as a smart home gateway.
