Digi Communications has posted revenues of €226.7 million for the first quarter of this year, or 13.5% more than in the same period in 2016.
Quoting data containing in the company’s financial report, ZF adds that Digi’s operating expenses were €202.6 million (+11.6%) and net profit €15.8 million (+22%).
Digi’s cable business generated revenues of €56 million in Q1, while those for its DTH operations amounted to €17 million.
The internet and telephony brought in €52 million and €69 million respectively.
In its home market Romania, Digi’s Q1 revenues amounted to €164.9 million (+14% year-on-year). Those in Hungary stood at €37.5 million (+14%) and in Spain €20.8 million (+3%).
Digi Communications, which was known as Cable Communications Systems up until April this year, includes RCS&RDS, the leading provider of cable and satellite TV services in Romania, among its assets.
