As ANGA COM prepares to throw open its doors on Tuesday, the organisers have announced a record number of exhibitors, 460 from 37 countries.
The international cable event has moved into two new exhibition halls and the modern CongressCenter North at the Cologne Messe.
“The relocation to new exhibition halls is the core of a comprehensive modernisation initiative,” said Dr Peter Charissé, Managing Director of ANGA COM. “With the new halls and modern conference facilities we are reaching a completely new level regarding appearance, convenience and logistics. Our new open air plaza between both halls is a very special highlight: It provides an attractive networking zone with food trucks and lots of greenery. At the new location, we bring together the broadband and media industry more splendidly than ever – true to our motto ‘Where Broadband meets Content’.”
The joint opening discussion with media forum NRW – referered to by delegates as the ‘elephant’s panel’ will feature leading industry names Dr Hannes Ametsreiter (CEO, Vodafone Deutschland), Niek Jan van Damme (Member of the Management Board, Deutsche Telekom), Anke Schäferkordt (CEO, Media Group RTL Deutschland), Carsten Schmidt (CEO, Sky Deutschland), Lutz Schüler (CEO, Unitymedia), Ronny Verhelst (CEO, Tele Columbus) and Christoph Vilanek (CEO, freenet).
