TV ad spend in the Czech Republic in the first quarter was 15.7% up on the same period in 2016.
According to data published by Nielsen Admosphere, it amounted to CZK10.080 billion (€376.8 million), compared to CZK8.708 billion a year earlier.
In March alone, it stood at CZK4.326 billion, a 13.7% increase on a year earlier.
Total ad spend in Q1 (TV, print, radio and outdoor) was CZK16.607 billion (+11.1%), while in March it amounted to CZK6.958 billion (+9.7%).
TV was the strongest performing medium, with only outdoor declining year-on-year.
