AMC Networks International – Central Europe has signed a three-year contract deal extension with Pragosport to broadcast Formula 1 exclusively in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
The agreement, which runs through 2020, secures for the sports channels Sport1 and Sport2 exclusive live coverage of all races and qualifying sessions of Formula 1 plus also the broadcast of the support races, Formula 2 and GP3.
Commenting on the development, Levente B. Since 2015, we have demonstrated our commitment to Formula 1, offering fans dedicated commentators and excellent broadcasting which has become a great success in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. In addition to Formula 1, Sport1 and Sport2 will broadcast such premium events as the KHL, the Champions Hockey League, the European qualifying for the 2018 FIFA World Cup, the Serie A, Ligue 1, as well as the EHF Champions League.
