Ginx esports TV, the competitive video gaming channel, is now available on OSN in the MENA region.
The launch is an important milestone for both companies as this is the first 24-hour competitive video gaming channel to showcase the emerging esports phenomenon in the MENA region, which has not been previously available in those territories.
Ginx esports TV, backed by Sky and ITV, will expand distribution in the region as it is made available on the OSN network from March 2017. Ginx will bring content from the global esports and gaming scene, such as coverage of the Call of Duty World League, The Bridge Live, The First Hour and Super Saturday Live.
Michiel Bakker, CEO of Ginx esports TV, commented: “We are thrilled to be at the vanguard of innovation and bring Ginx esports TV’s competitive gaming content to audiences in the Middle East and North Africa in partnership with OSN.”
The channel is currently available in over 40 countries, 9 languages and 36 million homes.
