German cable operator Tele Columbus has won 20,000 new internet customers in Q4 2016.
Throughout the whole year 2016, the number of internet customers rose by 58,000 to a total of 520,000. The number of cable households increased by 3,000 to 3.61 million.
The share of households upgraded with a return path required for two-way services such as internet and telephony climbed to 63.3%. In the medium term, the company wants to reach a 71% share.
In the second half of 2017, Tele Columbus wants to introduce a new consumer brand unifying the group’s different company names such as Primacom, Pepcom, KMS, Deutschetelekabel, HL komm, Martens and Big Medienversorgung under a single brand.
