The Czech Republic’s Nova Group has rebranded its licensing company CET 21 as TV Nova.
Quoting the group’s spokesperson Jana Ondrejechová, Rozhlas.cz reports that this has been done in order to align its key brands under the name Nova.
It adds that the action was approved by the company at its last meeting and the Council for Radio and TV Broadcasting (RRTV) earlier this week.
Nova is owned by CME and operates not only the flagship channel TV Nova but also thematic services Nova Cinema, Nova Action (formerly Fanda), Nova Gold (formerly Telka), Nova 2 (formerly Smichov), Nova International (aimed at viewers in Slovakia), Nova Sport 1, Nova Sport 2 and the SVOD service Voyo.
