The Tallinn-based telecom and IT infrastructure provider Levira is to start offering Internet of Things (IoT) services with its partners.
Commenting on the development, Tiit Tammiste, the company’s chairman of the board, said: “We will enter the IoT market with the smart investment approach by building the network for clients who are ready to start using the IoT opportunities right away. Jointly with our partners, we will be offering fast and flexible solutions in a network designed in cooperation with our clients and according to their needs”.
Meelis Anton, director of Levira’s Network Services Division, added: “Levira’s network service will enable to gather data from sensors and prepare the data for further processing. This means that our clients can focus on their business processes and create added value with the help of collected data”.
Levira will be working with its technological partner Nordic Automation to provide IoT services and with AU Energiateenus to offer solutions for end customers.
Separately, Hungary’s national transmission company Antenna Hungária has launched IoT networking, initially in Budapest and the Lake Balaton region.
The first service will become available in the latter this spring.
