Vodafone’s TV customer base in Spain grew to 1.3 million in 2016.
At the same time, its fully integrated fixed, mobile and TV service Vodafone One ended 2016 with 2.1 million customers, up from 1.1 million a year earlier.
In other markets, Vodafone notes in its latest set of results, for the (third) quarter ending December 31, continued growth in its DSL and cable business in Germany.
Fixed service revenue increased by 4.8%, compared to 6.1% in the previous quarter, with the number of broadband customers increasing by 110,000 (92,000 in Q2), of which 77,000 were on cable and the remainder on DSL.
Its co-ax fibre network reached over 6 million households out of its 14 million NGN footprint with speeds of up to 400 Mbps, as well as supplying TV to 7.8 million customers.
Vodafone Group’s revenues in the quarter ending December 31 amounted to €13,687 million, down 3.9% on a year earlier.
Of those, Europe accounted for €8,878 million (-4.6%).
