Get has signed a new long-term agreement with Discovery Networks Norway that will give the cablenet’s customers access to Discovery content on any device, in and outside the home.
“We look forward to offering our customers Norwegian football, in addition to all the other great content from Discovery. Norwegian TV customers are constantly looking for better content and greater flexibility, and the agreement with Discovery provides our customers with this,” said Get CEO, Gunnar Evensen.
All of Discovery’s services, which include local entertainment channel TV Norge and Eurosport, will be available on the Go.
“We are pleased now to be able to confirm that we continue the good cooperation we have with Get, also in the coming years. Particularly pleasing is the Get wants to help us to realise our vision, which is to give Norwegian football back to the people in several open channels,” said Harald Stromme, Head of TV Norge and Discovery Networks.
Terms of the agreement have not been released.
Last year, Discovery channels were removed from rival Canal Digital, in a carriage dispute that led Stromme to declare he was simply seeking the cost of a cup of coffee.
