German pay-TV broadcaster Sky Deutschland will continue to show the EHF Champions League games live and exclusive in Germany and Austria in the next three seasons.
The contract signed with EHF Marketing, a sister company of the European Handball Federation (EHF), covers the rights until the 2019/2020 season. Besides the TV rights, it also comprises the internet, IPTV and mobile TV rights. Financial details were not disclosed.
Sky Deutschland has been transmitting all matches of the German teams as well as the EHF Final 4 live and exclusive since the 2014/15 season. Further games of the tournament are streamed live free of charge at www.sky.de/handball-live.
The EHF Champions League will return from its winter break on Sky Deutschland on February 9, 2017 with the match between the Rhein-Neckar Löwen and the current cup holder from Kielce.
