The Italian DTH platform Tivùsat will add eight channels to its offer in January.
According to Alta Definizione’s HD blog, the line-up will include HD versions of Rai channels hitherto available only in SD, namely Rai Historia HD, RaiNews 24 HF, Rai Glup HD, Rai YoYo HD and Rai Scuola HD.
Alongside these, viewers will also be able to received the Chinese channels CCTV4, CCTV9 Documentary and CCTV News.
Separately, Tivùsat has announced that the channel 4K Rai will return to its line-up on December 27 to offer viewers a documentary on the secrets of St Peter’s Basilica.
