The Italian DTH platform tivùsat has added the HD version of Euronews English to its offer.
As a result, its line-up now consists of 75 TV channels, 15 of which are in HD, along with 32 radio stations and a wide selection of on demand services.
With the addition of Euronews English, tivùsat viewers can receive a total of 20 international channels.
Accessing tivùsat does not require a subscription.
Instead, it can be received with a certified device (set-top box or TV with CAM), satellite dish pointed at Eutelsat 13 degrees East and a smartcard included in the HD decoder box or CAM.
As previously reported by Broadband TV News, Globecast has recently been contracted by Euronews to bring its new HD channel to viewers across Europe, North Africa and the Middle East.
