The Slovak DTH platform freeSAT will add eight Hungarian channels to its offer on December 1, with a further three to follow in January 2017.
From December 1, subscribers opting for the pre-paid freeSAT medium HD package will be able to receive the national commercial station TV2; film and series-based Super TV2; movie-based Mozi+; Prime 1; sports channel Spiler; Humor+; cookery channel Chili; and Kiwi.
They will be joined on January 16 by Fem3, a channel that targets female viewers; Izaura, which offers telenovelas; and music-based Zenebutik.
freeSAT is operated by UPC DTH and also present in the neighbouring Czech Republic.
