TalkTalk has renewed its agreement with Sky to provide its customers with continued access to its basic and premium channels.
The multi-year agreement covers entertainment channels Sky 1 and Sky Living as well as premium channels Sky Sports and Sky Cinema. Pay-per-view service Sky Box Office is also a part of the agreement.
TalkTalk also has its own pay-as-you-go movies and TV service, TalkTalk TV Store, developed out of Blinkbox. The service offers the ability to stream, rent and buy-to-own popular boxsets and the latest movies at Britain’s lowest price – with no monthly subscription.
BT Sport is also available through the telco.
Aleks Habdank, Managing Director, TalkTalk TV, said: “This deal is an unequivocal demonstration of TalkTalk’s continued commitment to TV. Our service is going from strength to strength and our ambition to be the UK’s best value for money TV provider – offering customers flexible access to the widest range of free and paid for content – is firmly on track.”
TalkTalk launched its TV offering, using the YouView platform, in 2012 and currently has around 1.4 million customers.
