Canal+ has launched its Easy TV package in Kinshasa, the capital of Congo, and largest city in French-speaking sub-Saharan Africa in terms of population.
It follows earlier launches in Pointe-Noire (Congo Brazzaville) and Lubumbashi (Congo DRC).
Easy TV is priced at 8,000 Congolese Francs per month (about 7 Euros). The package comprises around 30 Congolese, African and international channels.
“With this third deployment in Africa, Canal confirms its determination and ambition to deploy Easy TV in cities in French-speaking Africa alongside local partners, to offer the greatest number of popular channels,” the broadcaster said in a statement.
