Türk Telekom has appointed Boulos H.B. Doany as its new CEO – general manager.
Hurriyet reports that he officially assumed the position on September 26, from which Rami Aslan resigned after three years in late August but continued until the new appointment was made.
Doany was formerly with the Saudi Oger Group for 12 years, serving as CEO, MD and executive director.
He was also CEO of Türk Telekom for five years.
While at the Oger Group, he oversaw its acquisition of a 55% stake in Türk Telekom, as well as its IPO on the Istanbul stock exchange and several key transactions.
