Russia’s MTS has entered into a partnership with the online video service Megogo.
According to Comnews, under the terms of the deal users of the MTS TV application will be able to watch content from Megogo. Furthermore, they will not be charged for data when viewing the content.
Over the next two months Megogo will also be made available to viewers who access the web version of MTS TV and via smart TVs.
To receive Megogo, MTS TV viewers will be required to pay either a daily subscription of R10 (€0.14) or a R149 a month. In the latter case, they will be offered a free seven-day trial to make themselves familiar with the product.
Megogo will effectively make 90% of its content available to MTS TV users.
Although the remaining 10% is premium, it will also be offered in due course.
