Russia’s MegaFon and ER Telecom have expanded the reach of a converged offer that includes mobile, broadband and digital TV.
According to ComNews, it was launched in April as a pilot in Siberia and has now been made available in 25 more cities including St Petersburg.
Although the project is due to run until 2018, neither of the two partners has ruled out an extension, as well as its spread to more cities.
Similar projects to the one operated by MegaFon and ER Telecom have previously been launched by MTS and VimpelCom.
ER Telecom, which uses the brand name Dom.ru, is one of the leading cable operators in Russia.
