Looking at Contego as a Service’, they said that it supports all features of DVB, OTT and IPTV and can be tailored with the features best suited for any operation. Furthermore, it is now available globally, with the first operators active on the platform.
Commenting on Kudelski’s recent acquisition of NexGuard, the former Civolution, they said that Conax and NexGuard are already working together to develop CAS, DRM and watermarking, for which there is a very high demand as a combination.
Looking generally to the future, they felt the need for security will increase and a holistic and wide approach will be needed to succeed. In that respect, Conax and Kudelski are well positioned.
They added that the focus would be on flexible and user friendly solutions, while maintaining the company’s trademark high focus on security.
