The Czech broadcaster Prima plans to start broadcasting in Slovakia.
Zive reports that it is preparing to take over a DTT slot vacated by TV Markiza with a new channel named Prima International.
It adds that its plans to enter Slovakia have been conformed by Gabriela Semová, the director of corporate PR and internal communications.
Although it is not known yet what programming Prima International would show in Slovakia, it is expected to also secure agreements for cable, satellite and IPTV distribution.
The Czech Republic’s TV Nova and its Slovak counterpart Markiza have already launched international channels aimed at each other’s markets.
